    The best way to use the mat to get maximum results is to do the following:  Lie down on the floor and take the acupressure pillow and tuck it in the small of your back.  The pillow itself is semi-circle and contoured so it should fit snugly in the lumbar region of your back.  Stay in that position for a few minutes.  Remove the pillow and still lying down, place it under your knees.  Keep it there for a few minutes as well.  Then, if you can, try lying face down with the acupressure mat in your belly region. Again, stay there for a few minutes.  Remember not to overdo it your first time out.  You’ll want to work your way up gradually with time-of-use.
